The trekking trail passes through the foothills of Himalayas and we come across several Gaddi Tribal villages entoure. Gaddi is a semi nomadic shephered tribe whose main accupation is rearing of sheep and goats. Gaddis keep on migrating with the big heard of their sheep and goats from Plains to mountains during summer and mountains to plains during winter time. Every night we camp close to a small village by the side ofa river with last night at the base of Dhauladhar mountains from where we have superb close view of the snow covered peaks of Himalayas.
